An extremely rare production of 600 bottles, this is made from vertically trained vines from an old system white vineyard planted in 1937. 'Selvagem' means 'wild', and the vines grow straight up, requiring that they be picked by hand standing on very tall ladders, A single varietal wine from the indigenous Azal grape variety, the grapes are crushed by foot, kept in amphora for 30 days, and then transferred to barrel. A unique wine, made in an oxidative style, of remarkable complexity that will improve with age.
